Is there anyone else I missed? Who would be a good leader? Are the powersets good enough to be competitive against other teams? Can they get along?

That's quite a formidable team as it is!

They've got brains, strength, speed, power, magic, psy powers.

Namor could finance them and it would be between him and justice to lead.

Oh Namorita could be added but that's probably Atlantean overkill and the team will start to turn into the new warriors.

Spider-man was a reserve Avenger long before Bendis. I guess he wasn't an X-man before Bendis, but they did offer him membership a time or two.

Switch out Quicksilver for Storm and maybe, she could add a extra dimension and more inter-human/mutant relations past experience living as a mutant and queen.

Captain Britain I don't think really counts as Excalibur was supposed to be a "Britain Superhero Team" more than about mutants.

Cloak & Dagger, I haven't actually read whatever book they were X-Men on, but from what I've heard there was a lot of confusion as to whether they were mutants or not.

Ink's whole thing is dumb, but while he's not a mutant himself, his powers come from a mutant, so it's like...

And I think a lot of those weren't part of the main X-Men team. I mean, yeah, at the end of the day there's a bunch of non-mutants who were in the X-Men, but it's not really like it has always been free to non-mutants as well.
