The original Brain Wave was an evil psychiatrist as is Dr. Faustus. Doc Samson is a good psychiatrist. I don't know about Harley Quinn these days... Are there other headshrinkers in comics? Do the good outnumber the bad?

Harley Quinn very much depend on the writer.
Original Wonder Woman had more than a bit of schooling in psychology, including reversing brainwashing.

Played by a guy who was also a good psychiatrist on Law and Order: SVU. Although that isn't a comic book, it has sent more than one actor into a comic book role.

Dr. Karla Sofen - evil incarnate. She got her powers by manipulating the original Moonstone into killing himself as a patient and stealing his power source.
Who has a rivalry with Doc Samson, her opposite.

I did some Google-fu and found a pile of them.
Professor X has a PhD AND an MD in Psychology and Psychiatry.
Doctor Druid and Brother Voodoo both have degrees in the field.
On the DC side of things, Doctor Fate (Kent V Nelson, grandson of the original).
Psychology is one of Mr. Terrific's whopping 14 PhD's.
And although you'd never guess, Guy Gardner actually has a bachelor's in the subject.
And for villains, Marvel has both Ahab and Sauron, while DC has Doctor Faust and Zoom (he was a profiler).
Plus those already mentioned, and there are more outside the big two. Seems like it's a more common field of study than we first thought.Dark does not mean deep.
