Well, there are many many jokes about bachelors-level psych. It was a running joke in the Becker TV series. The diner owner was getting her bachelors for psych and was getting depressed at all of the no-accounts with psych degrees. Guy having a psych degree pretty much just means that he was aimless and settled for nothing.

The combo of a double major in psych and education makes it look like he was aiming to be a guidance counselor.

Again: You are talking about the pre-accident Guy, the one that the Guardians found worthy of being one of Hal's two replacements on Earth.

Funny thing is, Gaines and Feldstein did a Tales From The Crypt story where baseball is played with human limbs for bats, organs for bases, and a head for a ball! Illustrated by the late, great Jack Davis.

While we're discussing actual people as well as fictional characters, we should at least mention psychologist William Moulton Marston, creator of Wonder Woman, and psychiatrist Nicholas P. Dallis, who created and wrote 3 long-running comic strips: Apartment 3-G (as "Nick Dallis"), Rex Morgan, M.D. (as "Dal Curtis"), and Judge Parker (as "Paul Nichols").
