she didn't knew it would be so easy, she came ready to gotham
and what a surprise, it's crap.
Sounds like I made the right choice in deciding to wait for the next issue. I know Simone is a big Oracle fangirl so I get her presence, but what I don't understand is all the rest of the Bat-wank.

I didn't really like it.
But OMG, Philippus! God, finally. I couldn't handle WW for much longer without her.
I'm disappointed: the inner monologues were rather poor and the art was subpar. I liked the Io reference, though.

I actually did try it out and I wasn't a big fan. It felt like a Vertigo version of Wonder Woman. It's not the kind of Wonder Woman series you could give to a six-year-old girl. But I have high hopes for Grant Morrison's Wonder Woman graphic novel. I also plan on checking out William Moulton Marston's stuff because it sounds like just the right amount of weirdness.
Unfortunately, I'm just not that into mythology-based characters like Wonder Woman or Thor or Loki.
I'm pretty sure Morrison's WW isn't going to be appropriate for a six year old girl either, just as a head's up. He's gone on record many times saying he's heavily integrating the original sexual and BDSM themes of Marston's run.
Sure, Diana can get the criminals off the streets, but patrolling Gotham is a full time gig. Is Diana going to leave every other duty to did it? Obviously not, and this will be a learning curve for her as much as the criminals.
And the Wonder-rangs are just wackily whimsical
And beside, IO made them, and that is reason enough right there to have them in the story.
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not
