Default Wayne Tower: What To Do With It?

    92A74B09-4076-4A37-90E9-8DAE3B8D46B1.jpg

While everyone knows and loves Wayne Mansion, what should be done with Wayne Tower? It’s an incredible place to use as a headquarters for Bat related characters. Should this become the new home for Nightwing? Maybe the Birds of Prey? Maybe make it the Earth 2 headquarters for that Batman and Huntress?

I think it'd be a good roosting spot for Nightwing.

Think it should be the new HQ for Batman.

Like in Morisson's run (if I'm not mistaken).

The Manor is ok and history is great etc but perhaps it's time to move forward.

Plus strategically located in the "heart" of Gotham so easy to get to troubled hotpots etc.

The building is still in service, right, with lots of offices and rental properties in it?

Yeah it was Dick's headquarters when he was Batman. He lived in a loft there and underground had his base of operations as Batman if memory serves... If Nightwing ever sets up shop in Gotham for some reason it would make sense for him to use it again. But Batman belongs in Bat-cave, it is iconic and it is down underground from where he lives. And I guess if anything goes wrong, he can use Wayne Tower as second base of operations too. Like, if he is in center city as Bruce Wayne and something happens he doesn't need to go to the manor, he can have suits, batcomputer, batmobile etc in the Wayne Tower basement too. He sure has the money to keep spares there.

Nightwing's not gonna take it. He's only there because he's filling in as Batman. Every time he moved to Gotham, by Tomasi or Higgins, it's been established that he prefer to mingle near the people he will get involved with, innocent or criminals. That's why everytime he pick a base it's always a cheap apartment in the bad, poor, or old side of town.

If we go by Tim Wayne heir to the Wayne throne, but Bruce still alive to handle the central Wayne Enterprises and living in the Manor, I'd say give it to him so by day he's at the center of town where he can handle part ofof the business and by night he can use it as his superhero base.

That's exactly what Batman did in the 70s after Dick went to collage.

Use it as a back up Batcave / HQ for the outsiders.

Whatever Bruce decides to do with it. Use it as his new base, a backup hq, gift it to another hero or team, or just decides to keep it as a business/residential tower. It all comes down to what he wants.

Well, Bruce wants what the writer wants him to want.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

Bruce could make it a giant dorm for homeless people. Maybe Ric Grayson could move in, maybe do some janitorial work when he's not drunk.

Having it encircle a giant growing tree is very pretty but that a lot's of wasted space.
