    Default Powerful non violent superpowers

Can you list powers that are nonviolent by nature?

Mind control: The whole point of the power is that one can exert influence over a situation without resorting to violence.

    Flight: Pretty self-explanatory.

and certain types of shapeshifting: Mostly the kind where you can take on the form of other people.

    Invisibility

    Invulnerability

    X Ray/telescopic/microscopic vision

    Intangibility

Super senses (sight touch smell hearing taste)

    Precognition

    Spider sense

    Healing factor

    Agility

    Underwater adaptation

    Ability to eat anything

    Total recall

    Ability to talk to animals

    Time travel

Most of not all these powers can still be used violently in some fashion, of course.

Teleportation and intangibility aren't geared towards violence specifically but are very versatile. Being able to change into a slippery substance like dust, smoke or ash works too.

    Forge's Technopathy.

Mr. Immortal's self-titled power (though he usually dies violently).

    Moira X's reincarnation.

Big Bertha's mass gain (but her mass loss is gross). Still, if you were standing next to her when she suddenly gained mass, it would be like being hit by an airbag, right?

    Blob's immovability.

    Superspeed

    Strength

    Shrinking/Growing

    Hair elongation

    Weather control

    elemental control

While all of these could be used in violent ways, there are also many non-violent ways to use them as well.

    Aquarian's anti-violence field.

I find mind control incredibly violent. And violating.

As to the question posed: DC's Immortal Man very (VERY) briefly had the power to manifest butterflies out of the palms of his hands. Very powerful, as he seemed to create life, something only the gods usually do. But utterly non-violent.

There is no more violent power than mind control. It is the ultimate violence

Unless a person's power is literally to blow things up, technically, almost no power is violent in nature. It is the use of that power in a violent fashion.
Thats one of the main ideas behind the differences of heroes and villains, isnt it?

The Human Bomb comes to mind. I would argue that Cyclop's power is inherently violent, and Professor X.

    Agreed.

Even psychic powers (mind control0 dont have to be violent.
A psychic could use his/her powers to help the mentally ill, PTSD victims, ppl w. locked in syndrome, ppl in comas...

That's s bad analogy. It's like saying shock therapy doesn't have to be violent.
