Trying to recall a Fantasic Four Annual that I had as a kid in the 70s in the UK
All I remember is Dr Doom I believe, raising an army of giant insects which set about eating everything.
Would anyone knowledgable in this have an idea which Fantastic Four book this is? And even better if you have some pictures.

I'm really not sure, but I have a question that might help. Would you happen to know if it was an American annual that you somehow came into possession of, or do you think it was a UK exclusive annual? It's a tough ask considering you were a kid, but Marvel had a few distributors in '70s UK that printed their own annuals separate from the American ones.

Correct me if I am wrong but weren't the UK annuals just a collected arc or other single issues?

The Doctor Doom story you may be remembering involved his secret army of killer robots called Omniots. But they do ressemble Annihilus, who is an insect-like being. This arc ran from Fantastic Four 84-87
