Even if it was that much I bet the profit margin on the licensing and merchandise still makes this purchase a good buy.

4 billion for all of LucasFilm.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Since this one was sort of "Thread Adjacent..." a while back and happened without a whole lot in the way of fanfare...

To help promote the boomerang app--

HBO max is removing the boomerang shows from hbo max!

    Noteworthy titles include:

    Johnny Quest, 1964

Josie And The Pussycats In Outer Space, 1972

    Josie And The Pussycats, 1970

    The Looney Tunes Show, 2011

    New Looney Tunes, 2015

    Paddington Bear, 1989

    Scooby-Doo And Scrappy-Doo, 1981

    The Scooby-Doo Show, 1976

    Scooby-Doo Where Are You!, 1969

    Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, 1995

    Tom And Jerry (Classic), 1967

    The Yogi Bear Show, 1988
Man the looney tune page will have nothing in it!

    ^^^^^^
We are only going to subscribe to so many outlets. I imagine some of the outcry was just that. HBOMax can justify it's price point by having broader all genre, or family interests on its platform.
Removing the Hanna Barbara stuff is a draw. I can have action fare, wife rom-com fare and kids the cartoons.

If it does/did go away we would go back to queuing up Scooby episodes on YouTube. That's what was being done before.
