Well they seem to see more value in adult animation than family shows.

Why are new Looney Tunes shows constantly being cancelled and ordered? Is it because it doesn’t usually follow a continuity, so all of the shows are essentially one large show?

If they have the paperwork, they should win this, or at least get WB to settle.

They react to trends. If the audience is not watching then they move on. Then someone else comes in and wants to try again, etc, etc...Or maybe the license runs out and they don't want to renew it. Cartoons are used to sell children products and if you don't have the rights to that character, then the cartoon is used to sell advertising. If you can't see advertising, then you sell subs. If you feel that cartoon is no longer selling subs, then why would you renew the license, especially if you don't get a cut of any sale of the products.

But then, why was the New Looney Tunes Show cancelled in 2020, only for them to start a different show that same year?

The Looney Tunes aren’t going away. Why bother cancelling it at all?

No clue...Different production team, different type of animation etc...

As does Transformers. There have at times been 2-3 different TF shows aimed at different groups within the fandom.

Looney Tunes getting cancelled strikes me as cyclical and not an alarm. The alarms have been ringing but LT being axed doesn't add to the alarms intensity.

So, read they might change the HBO MAX name with the merger into one streaming service to simply MAX. What do you think about that?

If they raise the price, they will lose subscribers.
They bought a prestigious, premium network and are doing their best to turn it into crap.

I don't like the name. I always thought of HBOMAX as a merger of HBO and Cinemax since they are sister networks. To whittle it down to Max just seems stupid. HBO means something. Max, to me, means softcore porn at 1AM on the weekend...LOL Though they don't do that anymore, that is what I think of.
I would just keep the HBO name and have Discovery merge into it. Marketing wise, HBO is worth more than MAX, Discovery or anything Joanna Grimes puts out.
