Andy Taylor for me. The show tackles many of the same issues with him as a Sheriff as you would get as a father, plus the usual father stuff. And the cast of characters were exactly the kinds of challenges a dad always faces. Aunt Bee was the best, she is such a damn shrew at times (apparently she hated the show, or the cast or something).
Shout out to Captain Sisko, though. I had major respect for that show and the way he was presented as a dad. That and the friendship between Jake and Nog.
Remember the episode when Jake was teaching Nog to read?
