Default Star Wars characters with Lantern rings? (Green, Red etc.)

Ever think about which Lantern rings would suit SW characters and WHEN they could get them?

    Maybe :

Red for Anakin after killing Tusken raiders? Yellow (fear) for Vader?

Green or Blue for Luke when he gave himself up to see Vader (Willpower or hope?)

    Orange for Watto? (avarice/greed)

    YOUR thoughts on this?

Blue for Luke definitely until he was butchered in the last joke.

And of course Rey doesn't need no rings. She can summon the raw power of will or hope anytime she wants.

As Finn one day explained with uncanny insight : Rey!!!! Rey!!!! Rey!!!!!!!!!

Vader could have a yellow one though, he did make quite a lot of people afraid.

And who wouldn't be afraid really of respiratory problems during those covid times?

Makes you wonder if George was influenced by GL in any way, as the Jedi and GLs are both intergalactic peacekeepers with extraordinary powers who have had rogue members, although the Jedi of course are more monk/knight/samurai etc. although it's possible that both had some inspiration from Lensman (Which seems to have inspired GL at least).

Yoda also seems to be slightly similar to a Guardian (At least some of Yoda's concept art also had him be blue).

    Pretty much:

Obviously the weapons of light, color coded: fear vs will.

    As to the OP

    - Emperor - Black
-Vader and most Sith - Red
Although they probably start at their lowest consumed by fear - Yellow, then graduate to Red
(I mean we've got a built in saying that explains the transition "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate...")
    -Luke (youth Hope) - Blue
-Luke (adult Return of the Jedi literally strength of will) - Green
-Leia another with unbreakable will power, it runs in the family, although to mix it up (it's corny but lets face it - Indigo (compassion) ...you thought I was going to say Violet ?
-Han is another raw will but starts off and uses it bit greedy self serving so he gets Orange LOL! But always prefers his trusty blaster anyway.
-Lando also starts with Orange, switches to compassion and will.
-Obi-Wan although betrayed by his friend, seems to never have lost Hope that redemption would come through that line, so a blue ring still seems appropriate.

Leia defintely would have a green ring.

I mean, come on, even Vader and Tarkin couldn't make tell her where the rebels' base was. Vader and Tarkin.

That's raw willpower right there. She just doesn't give up and has balls the size of a death star. (Kylo was adopted me think)

Agree to that. Tough, stubborn, and never gave up. Not sure about Han as a Green Lantern. He wasn't so much "willful" as he was a jackass part of the time, and got too connected to Luke and Leia to just leave the Rebellion.

That said, Jabba would be Orange.

Luke would be Blue in the original trilogy, Indigo in the sequels, or advancing to White in the old EU.

Vader would be Red, Palpatine would be Yellow.

Leia is Green, and Jabba is Orange (what else would he be?).

The Skywalker Family really fits the criteria for certain corps

Darth Vader: Yellow/Fear - Empire and Rebels alike crap themselves if they're about to interact with him. Even the boogeyman probably sleeps with a nightlight because of the scary stories he read about Vader
Leia: Green/Willpower - Against all odds. No matter how bad the situation is, Leia faces them head on and keeps fighting.
Luke: Blue/Hope - The Battle of Yavin. So much pressure and the situation only got more grim. Luke also was the only one who believed his father could be saved. Kenobi and Yoda both told him it couldn't be done.

Vader would be a Red Lantern. He gets the Force juice as a Sith via rage and self hate.

Luke is blue to the core.

The clone troopers? Dudes typically have no emotion at all. They cannot be ring hosts.

Remember the rings are not just mental strength but a definition of f it as emotions and will power is another word for courage/bravery as far as I can tell ( as it’s being will strong in the face of fear.)

But yeah if the bad guys get ring tech. It’s another kettle of fish. If just the Corp in SW. they stomp the hell out of it.
Well we we know it starts with letting fear consume/control you.

"Fear is the path to the dark side…fear leads to anger…anger leads to hate…hate leads to suffering.”

For Anakin it was the fear of losing Padme, that began to consume his every moment, ...led to anger and hate.
So he could likely transition from Yellow ring, to end with a Red ring after he's consumed.

Similarly Luke transition from Hope (blue) sees it everywhere, in the rebellion, his friends, etc. himself and his sister (A New Hope)
To the power of fearless free will = "Choice" = (green) Retun of the Jedi where he is able to switch off his saber in the face of it.

That's why the last Jedi consumed by fear coward hiding away interpretation of Luke, was such a flagrant betrayal of the character (Hamill knew it), because it betrayed everything the character had experienced and learned.
