Apparently the editors and/or creators at both DC and then Marvel were both not so subtlety processing whatever anxieties they had, about the "hypnotic" influence of what their kids were listening to.
Johnny Dune and the Hypno Hustler should team-up!

    Does anyone even remember this?

Not sure if The Average Joe Band or the Misfits were in the comic too?

Alice had a mini-series at DC in the 90's as well. And I want to say Neil Gaiman was involved?

There were half-a-dozen issues of this:

And back in the Golden Age, there was a long-running backup feature in Feature Comics about Swing Sisson, a two-fisted, crime-solving bandleader:

Another Sienkiewicz cover, and Marvel's weird attempt at a Musical....
And yeah Dazzler was straight Disco, but the op couldn't bother to get

"Rock 'n' Roll" right so I guess she counts.

And now for something completely different... instead of rock 'n' roll in comics, how about comics in rock 'n' roll? Specifically, R. Crumb's cover for the 1968 Cheap Thrills album by Big Brother and the Holding Company, led by Janis Joplin. Reportedly Crumb refused to be paid for this cover, because he didn't want Columbia Records' "filthy lucre".
