Not sure what’s been done w. that idea if anything, in GL books, Elseworlds, future storylines etc. across DC’s many reboots so just wanted to ask.

In some ways Alan appears to be and I wouldn't be surprised if Hal found a way to be as well considering his many Super Sayian power ups.
Don't think we have seen a true immortal Lantern but there are some that are extremely long lived especially the silicon-based ones.
Driq is proof that a Green Lantern may never die so long as his ring keeps him alive. The catch here is that the ring has to keep him alive and the life lived might not be such a great one. Given the limits on rings, it's unlikely that any Green Lantern could be truly immortal--something's bound to happen to the ring, at which point the ring bearer will die. But, in theory, a Green Lantern could live forever. But then, in theory, any human being could live forever.
