Do you think removing the exoskeleton and mystical elements hurt Arana as a character ?
Definitely, and that's just one of the many things they removed from her that hurt her potential.
It's not like "Can make her own armor" is that complicated as a concept, at worst it sounds silly, but having Spider-Powers in general is silly.
I would really like to see Nina come after Anya sometime because of her pissy attitude at Anya for something that was not Anya's fault.

Last up for my #HellfireGala #Partycrashers series- the winner of the last poll #Moonknight and his date #Arána(aka-#Spidergirl). Both sporting fits the Harken back to alternative looks they’ve had in the past.

I would say so, yes. The mystic elements, carapace included, at least gave her some distinction from a more "typical" Spider-Girl.
A real shame that plot thread was just left dangling at the end of Spider-Man/Arana: The Hunter Revealed. That said, the Spider Society splintering into rivaling renegade factions trying to take each other and the Spiders out could be an interesting Spider(-Man)-centric event.
I like the design for Anya/Arana.
The spider is always on the hunt.
moon knight looking dope. Like how Anya spider legs are still going

I think the carapace could use a redesign, but the character was definitely much better as Araña with her own unique elements.
The transition to Spider-Girl just made her a lot more generic.
