I like the Spider-Girl suit but it is a little more generic.

Well, duh, it is basically an evolution of Julia Carpenter's Spider-Woman suit. The first version of Anya's Spider-Girl suit literally WAS Julia's. And of course, it's a similar design to Venom, because Venom is based on the black Spider-Man suit that was based on Julia's (it debuted shortly after she did).

As for the powers, I don't think it helped that Silk later appeared with the exact same powers - Spider-Man's powers plus organic webbing. Anya's lost her uniqueness.

If it helps, Anya did have "shadow camouflage" a la Nightcrawler when she first got the Spider-Island powers, but more recent stories (looking at you, Kelly Thompson's Black Widow) had it more as "regular" active camouflage, similar to Miles Morales. Yeah, if they could somehow bring back a version of her mystical carapace and combine that with her shadow camouflage powers . . . that would be great.

I prefer Anya with the more 'normal' spider powers as opposed to the carapace...But I do think she should create a more original costume.

She had a tattoo as part of her original Arana powers, but it vanished when the carapace armour was destroyed.

An update of her original look, and I see she's also got shorter hair again like in the Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel book when she acted as her sidekick after Civil War.

This raises two big questions... if she's back to using the bolas, does this mean she loses her Spider-Girl powers? The bolas are redundant if she has her organic webbing. And is she vacating the name so that they can introduce a new Spider-Girl? During another Spider-Verse event is the perfect time to do that, Silk and Spider-Gwen were both introduced in the original event.

Look again. She's BOLAS slinging, not web slinging. She ditched the bolas when she gained the spider powers in Spider-Island. So if she's using them again, she's probably lost her webs.

Maybe she uses them because she likes them. Also, I believe this is a variant cover so don't take it too literally. And like the other guy said, she still has her hand on a web-shooting position so we need to wait and see. I personally don't think she's gonna lose her webs because that would be kinda random and unnecessary. Why make her lose them if she still is gonna web-sling with a cheaper web?
