Anya's tattoo suddenly reappears, giving her great pain. Madame Web tells her that her powers are reawakening due to the return of the Sisterhood of the Wasps, who themselves are returning thank to Shathra. Julia gives her the new costume -which was made Web-Weaver- to fight the new totem of the Wasps, named Delilah. After defeating her, Julia comes back and recruits Anya to travel with her and recruit other spider totems for the battle to come.

Overall, a good story. It sets up Anya's role in the event as a whole, and it's surprising that foes tied to her are going to be the main antagonists of the story.

If I had to guess, I’d say organic. Kinda seems like they’re going for her powers changing to be a combination of both power sets.

Yeah, she hasn't lost her Spider-Girl powers. She's just regaining her original ones on top. It was the pain from her tattoo re-emerging that made her fall, not the loss of her wall-crawling abilities.

I like it how this comic made Anya have two running gags by accident.

First, her waking up covered in webs the next day after getting those powers/getting them back:

I do wonder if that Delilah is super powered or not, 'cause Anya very casually tanked her attacks, and that was without her carapace, if that's back, if Delilah is super powered that might mean Anya is quite tanky

I imagine that as the story progresses she'll loose her Spider-Girl powers as meanwhile her Araña powers come back.

I don't see why all the powers can't become part of the same package.
