Secret Wars aged everybody by eight months due to a timeskip before the All-New All-Different linewide relaunch - Squirrel Girl for example was now a second year student instead of a first year - and both Ms. Marvel and Miles Morales have subsequently had a new school year start (meaning that Kamala, who was 16 in 2014, must be 17 by now - Miles is the same age). Anya can't still be 16 if they're being consistent even among the spider books, let alone linewide.

Franklin has finally caught up with his missing aging, by the way, he's now in his mid teens, as someone born in comics published in the 1960s should be by now.

Again, better not thing too much about it. Franklin suddenly going from eight-ish to 16 in less than 5 years is weird enough. Miles went from 13 to 16 in the same period of time Anya spent being 16.

If the next writer confirms her as being 16, she'll be 16
If they decide to age her to 18, she'll be 18.

What was she doing the last time she was shown in a comic?

The disconnect with Anya's costume has always amused me .

Don't blame you r.e. the smaller format (still salty that Marvel quit the oversized hardcovers for their Star Wars stuff). At least it's a good price.

I have the first couple of the new three Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane digest (need to get that last one) and those average about ten issues apiece (and the other Marvel digests in the section seemed to be similar in thickness).

    Makes sense.

Highly recommended, IMHO. Spider-Girls was a most enjoyable reading experience:

I hope she gets this in the comics and Arachne can have her's back.

I don't know if it would work in the comics given it's more Silk's color scheme (and she still has a comic coming out, eventually).

I’m surprised both Anya and Miles haven’t met yet. Especially since they’re both part Puerto Rican.

I don't recall remember if either points were ever bought up in the Spider-Man cartoon.

    It writes itself, almost.

Not necessarily, but they were classmates and friends before Peter showed up at Horizon High.

Just curious. Since Order of the Web is coming, and I’m not up on each of the relationships.
