It is just as valid to say "Spiderman" as it is to say "Spider-Man".

"The Marvel EIC Chair has a certain curse that goes along with it: it tends to drive people insane, and ultimately, out of the business altogether. It is the notorious last stop for many staffers, as once you've sat in The Big Chair, your pariah status is usually locked in." Christopher Priest
Writers boycotted Captain Marvel's character during Civil War II
that's why she gets so much hate as a character
Jean Grey is Imo a better/more interesting character without the Phoenix Force.
Betsy Braddock's psionic weapons make her unique but also undermine her potential.
Amen to that
I don't know how controversial my opinion is, but based on only the first few issues, X of Swords is the best event/storyline Marvel has produced since the Dark Reign days. Every "event" in between seems like it could've been just a (mediocre) regular arc in Avengers or X-Men books.
The Fantastic Four are lame
Ha ha, honestly I’ve never found them very interesting (also haven’t read them much). The early Kirby/Lee stuff is too cartoonish for my taste, and that’s the majority of what I’ve been exposed to. I’ll have to give Byrne’s run a try though. I read a Spider-Man and FF team up he did and that artwork was gorgeous.
Dr. Octopus is a much more interesting villain than Green Goblin.
Thought Balloons need to come back.
There shouldn't be a Spider-family. We don't need an entire group of people with Spider-man's powers running around. Just Peter. ... maybe Venom, but that's it.
Superheroes NOT having a secret identity should be the exception not the norm. Most superheroes should have a normal civilian supporting cast as well.
Covers should have SOMETHING to do with the book. Word balloons, captions, and blurbs also need to return to covers.
"Realistic" looking tacticle costumes don't belong on superheroes. (At least not most superheroes. I'm willing to make exceptions for people like Punisher).
The X-men really need to stop letting their villains join their teams, and if they're going to hang out with people like Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, and Magneto, then the rest of the superhuman community needs to treat them like they're supervillains.
Venom original motivation was perfectly fine for his characther and he does a better villain than anti-hero (thought Cates run has been fun).
The PS4 game is the best Doc Ock story of the last 15 years (and the only good one).
Robbie Robertson is the only characther that was a father figure to Peter after Uncle Ben.
