    Default "Secret Crisis" DC/Marvel Crossover

The opening scene of Donny Cates' Thor show blurs of light, a "league" of gods compared to our "marvelous" heroes, resembling the Justice League get wiped out by "the black winter". Also in the Doomsday Clock event in DC they refer to Superman fighting Thor and Hulk.

So my question is- does anyone think this is going anywhere or are they just teasing us? Could we be looking at another major crossover? If so, what would you like to see happen? More heroes vs heroes or something else?

I think we're still far from the possibility of another DC/Marvel crossover right now but they'll make nods to each other now and then.

Doomsday Clock did say it was five years in the future, after the reboot that ends 5G. Trouble is, as I understand it, the 5G plans were cancelled after that was published, due to Dan DiDio's firing.

Truthfully, there's no chance of a crossover as long as WB and Disney respectively own DC and Marvel. However, WB Games is up for sale... could WB's parent company AT&T be looking to dispose of other assets...?

Probably not the characters themselves. Batman and Superman alone are worth a fortune in licensing. Back in the 80s when WB's publishers were seriously considering having Marvel publish DC's books, it was with the stipulation that those would be licensed projects (a la Star Wars, GI Joe, Transformers or Conan) and that WB would still own the characters and collect the merchandising and media adaptation money.

The situation right now would be effectively similar. Other companies would be making DC games but WB/AT&T would still be the ones getting the license and royalty fees like Disney does with the Marvel games.

What issue of Doomsday Clock was Thor and Hulk mentioned?

#12. It's mentioned in the future that Superman encounters Thor and a "green behemoth" in an event called the Secret Crisis (which is obviously a reference to Secret Wars and COIE).
