    Default Post Crisis Recommendations?

Has anyone got any post crisis runs to recommend? Also is the New 52 Earth 2 series worth a read?

Byrne's Superman, Action Comics, and Man of Steel mini are all pretty good. I was also fond of both Perez's initial Wonder Woman relaunch, and Booster Gold's first dozen issues.

For later into Post-Crisis, Superman's "Panic In The Sky" and "Time After Time" arcs are fun.

The PC Flash relaunch w. Wally West was great, and still being referenced today.

    Ostrander’s Suicide Squad.
It’s the original, the template for everything that’s come after in villains getting the spotlight.

Starman, the Will Payton version. Good superhero fun.

Animal Man and Doom Patrol are where Morrison became Morrison.

The Question, by the late, great, Denny O’Neil.

    Perez Wonder Woman

I've liked what I've read of Jim Starlin's Batman aside from Death in the Family.

I really liked the Earth 2 series for those first 2 years. After issue 28 though the book is just absolute garbage snd is tied to that horrible Worlds End mini series which was also just garbage.

Flash: The Return of Barry Allen + Flash Blitz.

Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War + Blackest Night.

    Young Justice Vol. One

    Batgirl Vol. One

    Robin Vol. One

    Manhunter vol. One.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP

after the crisis , superman only had a couple of good stories - the pocket univerrse superboy saga , the matrix supergirl saga , the perez brainiac trilogy, the introduction of the linear men and the time and time again saga where superman biounce between the past and future - the one time supes went to wwii and worked as a circus strongman for several months, the red krptonite saga leading to the proposal , the underrated the red glass trilogy where superman finds a whole world against him.

of course , there's plenty of those famous storylines - death of superman , batman's knightfall , gl emerald twilight etc.

There are also some must read elseworld stories:

    • The Dark Knight Returns - The Famous story by Frank Miller - 1 omnibus
    • Superman: Red Son - by Mark Millar, what if Kal-El landed in Russia ? - 1 vol.
    • DC: New Frontier - Big saga by Darwyn Cooke - 1 omnibus
    • Kingdom Come - The aclaimed story by Mark Waid and Alex Ross - 1 vol.
    • All-star Superman - The aclaimed serie by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely - 1 omnibus
    • Superman: Secret Identity - Unusual take on Superman - 1 vol.

For some good ongoing series you can follow:

    • The Green Lantern by Grant Morrison
    • All-new Aquaman by Kelly Sue DeConnick
    • Justice League Dark by James Tynion IV
    • Wonder Twins by Mark Russell
    • The Terrifics by Jeff Lemir
    • Red Hood & the Outlaws by Scott Lobdell - continues in Red Hood: Outlaw
    • Shazam! by Geoff Johns

And for your answer on Earth-2:

Earth-2 by James Robinsona and then Tom Taylor are fun to read.
Earth-2: World's End, is confusing and not worth it
Convergence that comes after World's End is a pointless and confusing event.

But you can read Earth-2, the Syndcated of Crime pops up in the Justice League title during the Darkseid War (2015).

Hawkworld 3 issue mini was fantastic
Green Arrow Longbow Hunters 3 issue mini
the Doctor Fate series by Dematteis was fun mini plus regular
Black Hawk 3 issue series by Chaykin
Challengers of the Unknown by Loeb and Sale

I happily agree with stuff like post crisis Superman, Wally West Flash, Giffen and Dematteis Justice League. Just thought I'd throw in some early post Crisis stuff I didn't see mentioned.
