The trouble with this and this topic in general is, how much of it is being neuro-atypical in the usual sense of the word and how much of it is a result of mutation.

Technically all psychics' brains work in a neuro-atypical way, but that's a result of their mutation.

Cyclops' brain also works differently due to his mutation in regards to spatial cognition etc. and some other of his neuro-atypical traits can be seen as a result of his traumatic brain injury and past abuses.

Also the way Cypher sees the world kinda like an autistic person who is a verbal specialist, but isn't that just a result of his mutation?
