That was a upgraded T-1000 from a different timeline the normal T-1000 from the original timeline T1 T2 T3 T4 can't do that.

I think he’s basically ignoring anything after T2 because they were really bad.

And that’s too bad because TSCC was some of the best damn television I’ve ever seen and very much does the original two movies justice.

Ya gotta watch it, man!! But in a nutshell, it gradually shows how Skynets AI is formed and while John and co did stop judgement day by destroying the parts, AI was already in the works that would have created another Skynet anyways.

So it’s a lot like T3 but it expands more on the universe.
