My mother watched the new Dune movie recently, and she compared Paul Atredies (sp?) to both Luke Skywalker and Neo from the Matrix movies.
I told her, "Yeah, that messianic archetype shows up a lot in those kind of movies."

Everything ties into Warhammer 40K in some way. And WH40K is only a very small part of the Slayers-verse, which was brought forth from Chaos by the Lord of Nightmares.
