It’s true that some of the labors changed by story as well as outcome. But your being waaaay harsh there. The general version of Heracules is universal no matter which version you use.

Edit: Now Merlin is legit. That guy has 3 or so back stories. Each a reason for power and scaling.

Source material is a good standard. But when every single ****ing story has exactly the same ****ing thing it should count. Greek Myth is not oral history, it is written down and illustrated.
