How many X-titles do you think Marvel can sustain at once? How many are you willing to buy?

30, just cancel the rest of the titles.
Reading List (Super behind but reading them nonetheless):
DC: Currently figuring that out
Marvel: Read above
Image: Killadelphia, Nightmare Blog
Other: The Antagonist, Something is Killing the Children, Avatar: TLAB
Manga: My Hero Academia, MHA: Vigilanties, Soul Eater: the Perfect Edition, Berserk, Hunter X Hunter, Witch Hat Atelier, Kaiju No. 8
100, just have Hickman consume DC and Image.
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
My ideal is four, I'd purchase up to 5-6 if quality varies across the line, but I'd buy as many as I can if they are all phenomenal.
X-Men (main book)
Excalibur (international flavor)
X-Force (catch all teen book)
Wolverine,
Storm
I can afford 6. So the answer is 6. Any less is a missed opportunity, any more and you're oversaturating the market. Now all of you get yourself into a financial situation similar to mine, and we'll all be fine.
I think 8 to 10 main team titles, like;
X-Men
Excalibur
X-Factor
X-Force
New Mutants
Marauders
Mr. & Mrs. X
New/Young X-Men
Hellions
Uncanny X-Men
and 4 solo titles:
Wolverine
Cable
X23
Deadpool
and then about 8 mini series of 6 to 12 issues. like;
Deep Blue X-Men (love that idea)
X-Corps
Moira X
Magik
Cyclops & Jean
Children of the Atom
Acolytes

Given that there are readers who only buy anything and everything X-Men...I would say 8 books...providing all 8 are of continuous high quality...which is never the case.
I read/buy other books besides X-Men so my cut off point was no more than 4 books but...with DoX it's been increased to 6.
(Those double-shipping months in the earlies were pure hell and misery on my comics budget...and why I will never support DS as an ongoing practice.)
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Realistically I'm not going to buy more than 6, that being if they are very interwoven, well written, and I'm invested in the storyline. Currently I'm only consistently buying 3 books and one of those I would drop in an instant if my favorites weren't in it.

This would be the death of my bank account. The other problem that I feel arises with too many x-books is repetitiveness. Despite being a massive franchise, there are only so many villains, which hasn’t been helped by the fact that all mutants are considered allies right now.
Make evey book xmen and kick out avengers
All depends on the quality. Right now Deadpool is the only x-book I buy.
I've always thought that less is more. My ideal is a small, cohesive line of X-books where every book matters, situations and characters are cross-pollinating and writers are working on a cohesive narrative. My ideal would be
A weekly X-Men book with a rotating cast, 4 writers in total.
An anthology monthly book à la X-Men Unlimited but more in the spirit of Classic X-Men, so with character-driven stories.
3 miniseries max a year, with stories then feeding into the main X-Men book. Wolverine would get an yearly miniseries with a beginning, middle and end. The other 2 minis could be either about special missions/teams (X-Force, New Mutants) or solo adventures (Storm, Cable, Rogue)
