Yeah, that accurately describes the worst entries in the genre, but most of the superhero prose novels I've read made for some fun light reading. I'll definitely be picking up the Domino novel since I love action/espionage stories, and I kind of like how much the synopsis for the Rogue novel reminds of fanfiction lol.

I know this is a silly question but ... Are they canon? Like 616.

I don't think it's been officially stated yet, but considered that the Rogue novel appears to be a re-imagining of her origin story with Gambit added in, some of them are probably not canon.

    Probably not.

Although except SOME elements in them to find its way into the comics especially for Traige.

If the books sell well, some things might migrate over. But I don’t think any of the other novels have been ‘cannon’ so doubt these ones will be.

To me the most interesting part of this is that "Xavier's Institute" seems to be a series of novels focusing on different students

    Could be cool

The recently gave the Venom trilogy an omnibus rerelease.

My understanding is that most of them follow the comics, but might as well be their own continuities, since the comics won't mention them. (In some cases, like the pre-OMD Spidey ones, that's a blessing.)

Kinda makes me want to read the Triage & Tempus one just to see whether the author was able to escape the Tempus Ex Machina thing.

The Venom Factor, The Lizard Sanction, and The Octopus Agenda, all by Diane Duane, right? Thanks for the heads-up. Waiting for the X-Men/Spider-Man: Time's Arrow trilogy to get rereleased, to keep it X-Men-related.
