    Default Favourite fan theories?

James Bond is a code name not an agent.

The aliens fromsigns were actually demons, that's why you don't see any spaceships...

The ship Anna and Elsas parents died in is the ship Ariel went exploring in
    ..
    Other theories?

Warning- Get ready to Game of Thrones level hurl:

Rey is really Luke and Leia's daughter.

It's the only way to explain Luke ( once all about overcoming fear by recognizing both dark and light halves of himself) instead now trified, creepily cowering away and hiding in fear and shame.
Han abandoning Leia, and their pathetic tortured emo son, who probably knows the truth (and only reason Luke (whose every instinct was once seeing and saving the good and hope in others) first impulse is now to kill.)

The resur-Emperor is just an outrageous ruse to cover up the truth.
And makes the final line of dialogue and title all the more creepily ironic

A popular theory on the IMDb predator boards was that Jesse Ventura and bill Duke were gay.

Over at Tumblr and some fanfic sites it is believed that Dani and grace from terminator Dark fate are a couple as well

An oldie but a goodie. Dick Sargent, the second actor who played Darrin Stephens, was gay. Therefore, the original Darrin, Dick York, was also gay despite all evidence to the contrary and Elizabeth Montgomery, who played Samantha, was also gay because she was friends with Dick Sargent and came out for gay rights.

Really, almost any actor and actress who played a couple of television were rumored to be having an affair in real life. I remember the Lee Majors/ Lindsay Wagner rumors which didn't get a lot of traction because the real Lee Majors/ Farrah Fawcett relationship was apparently more interesting. This was all long before the Internet, of course.

In this case the studio/producers vs, the director, who then counts as a fan.
    As per directors cut...

Eduardo Gaff himself a vet Bladerunner, knows Deckard is a Replicant and lets him (and Rachel) go (despite having been there to kill them), wants to allow them to "naturally" live out their lives.
And is the real hero of the movie.

Deckard is made aware of this, and what he is, as they go free....

Not sure if they ever officially came out but there were rumors for years that both Agnes Moorehead (Endora) and Paul Lynde (Uncle Arthur) were both gay as well.

A theory was that Andy Griffith was extremely unhappy during the color episodes of The Andy Griffith Show because Don Knotts had left the show. For that reason, the character of Andy Taylor became irritable and short-tempered because Griffith was miserable.

However, if you look back, Andy Taylor always had a short temper, even in the black and white episodes. No one remembers that because of all the humor between Taylor and Barney that was lacking during the color episodes.

The problem with the James Bond thing is that technically he already has a codename-007-and, prior to Daniel Craig, there were various nods to continuity between the films, mostly Bond's wife.

OHMSS is strangely both the film most supportive and probably least supportive of the theory at the same time, in a way. You have the "This never happened to the other fella" and Bond and Blofeld fail to recognize each other right away (although this might be because they were trying to stick fairly close to the novel, which is their first meeting in that context) despite having met in the last film. However, other films (Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Licence to Kill) with different Bonds bring up his marriage and widowing; or at least suggest it (Diamonds Are Forever, The World Is Not Enough). Also the opening credits hourglass heavily uses footage from the first five films (Although mainly the girls and villains, as Connery Bond is not shown) and there's a scene where Bond empties his desk with various mementos and gadgets from the earlier films (and their music plays too).

Jesse would kill you for that comment, or talk you to death

But I can see Batman and Robin as a gay couple, especially in the 66 TV Series. Or Batman as a lover of young boys, being obsessed with training and making Robins out of them. I know there is another reason for that, but you could easily think that.

There's a theory that the Rebuild movies of Evangelion take place after the TV series and the wrap-up movies, sort of a time loop or something. (The FF7 remake seems to be having a similar approach).

I don't really like that spoilers:
Rey isn't a Skywalker by blood
end of spoilers, but eww, no incest.

In that time period, they could not come out but I've read stuff by other actors who knew them and had no problem with the fact that they were gay.
