Topaz's origins and real name are unknown, even to herself. As an infant, Topaz was found and adopted by the Sorcerer Taboo, who was living in an Indian prison camp at the time.

I don't expect there are 20 POC in most categories let alone one so narrow.

it would be great if there was but even so it would be littered with minor characters.

Magical Potential: Storm's ancestry supports the use of magic and witchcraft. Many of her ancestors were sorceresses and priestesses.
Storm's ancestor Ashake, who worships the Egyptian goddess Ma'at, also known as Oshtur, the mother of Agamotto. Oshtur appears to have strong favor for the bloodline of Ororo.
Storm's maternal powers have even been linked to the real-world Rain Queens of Balobedu, the region from which her Sorceress Supreme ancestor, Ayesha, hails.

The old lady Storm in Belasco's realm had mastered magic (and her mutant powers had faded over the decades), so there at least other worlds where she's gotten heavily into it, even if 616 Storm isn't (yet...) a spellcaster.
