Along the way he runs into supermodel billionaire Mari McCabe who works undercover for Checkmate as part of the Global Guardians Initiative. Hawkman: Superhero Indiana Jones basically, with a lot of The Mummy in it, actually more Nathan Drake than Indiana. He would travel around the world after some ancienty and powerful weapon, trying to beat the evil organization. In each place he would reconnect with some past life of his, egyptian prince, roman gladiator, japanese samurai, african warrior, etc. Eventually he would find the Hawkman wings and weapons. The ancienty weapon will be a Thanagarian ship of course. During the movie he would have visions of a mysterious woman fighting along side him, at the end we would go to Thanagar where we would meet captain Shayara Hol waking from a dream with Carter, she would them be called by her superiors who would tell her they got a distress call from a lost ship.

Jack Kirby's The Demon. Basically, "Highlander" meets "The Incredible Hulk".

Captain Atom. Air Force officer framed for a crime he didn't commit and forced to take part in a secret govt project. Project goes wrong throwing Nathaniel Adam 20 years into the future and giving him incredible powers. The General that framed him and forced him into the project in the first place married Adam's widow and raised his kids. You have family drama/political thriller/and man out of time all in one character.

Metamorpho. Rex Mason is an adventurer/mercenary working for sleazy business man Simon Stagg. Rex is sent on a job to investigate some recently uncovered ruins that Stagg thinks might hold a valuable power source. While on the job he is attacked by a rival merc named Copperhead who is working for the mysterious Vandall Savage. The in the fight the Orb of Ra the artifact Rex was sent to find suddenly blasts both men with strange energy turning rex into the elemental man and giving Copperhead his venom pit and the abilty to contort his body to fit though very small openings.

Love them both, but they're both so thick you maybe need a 3-film commitment apiece to do them right. Netflix series?

Nah, I think that you can get a pretty complete and good story in one 2 hour movie, for any character. Not everything requires a Netflix series.

Ditto, it always annoyed me that the producers of Arrow were continually told they couldn't use him in the show because they had other plans for the Question?

What other plans? It's been three years and I have seen nothing.

If WB hadn't already made Joker, I'd have said put The Creeper in a film about a hero struggling with mental illness.
