The studio was meant to emulate the Marvel bullpen, except there were interviews with creators, like Mark Waid, who hated working there. The allegations was that it was a toxic work environment, everyone was meant to be super competitive with each other in a negative light and many people got into personal disputes with Allessi himself.

I think the CrossGen series that feature magical girls as their main characters such as Mystic (featuring sisters Genevieve and Giselle) and Meridian (featuring the teenage Sephie) would be good places to start.

I have said for years Disney should be looking into making movies of some of those properties. Meridian checks all the boxes for a hit movie if done right.
