“ Damnit!! That’s no good! Now, what do we do?! We gotta fight smart if we hope to make a escape.”
Focused like a laser beam, spoke as if carved of stone with little expression.

"Well everybody, it was fun chatting but I think it may be time to go now!" Morgen said, starting to push everyone into the elevator with a strained smile. "The last thing I want is to be caught somewhere I'm not supposed to be, thinking about the shame it would bring to the family name is starting to make me a little light-headed..." She briefly looked over her shoulder just be certain they weren't seen just yet. "If anyone has a plan to slow them down, please, do share now."
As soon as their way out became clear, it seemed as if getting to their destination had become increasingly less so.
One...two...three...four... Kinu counted off the scores of people in the crowd a bunch at a time, then looked back at the elevator. How many can get down at one time?
"...anything else you can spot us, Gumshoe? Of course they ain't playing nice, but that could mean any number of things."
It was some distance away, but it seemed one of them either cast a spell, or used a great deal of mind-movement when they caught up with a member of Gee-gee's delivery service.
Onceshe finished her warmup, she peered around the terminal. This place was going to become a hot zone really quickly...possibly in more ways than one.
"'We' again? Not gonna be an easy thing to pull off if we don't know what we're working with here," Kinu shrugged. "But it's still the case that A-9's going to get their answers."
Throwing her head and her hands back, the train on her coat flew up behind her, a peacock's tail of texture and colour and...glass bits. "We gotta give them time, and Gee-Gee here a hot minute to get her **** in order on Level 3."
Leaning forward with her weight on one knee, her mask peered wide along the Skyport's grounds. The front gates were open, and with the skylight blown that made two entrances. Reaching down to her waist, Kinu produced a...microphone?
"Listen up, En! You came downtown today ready prepared to face off with a Witch! Well now! It is time!"
Practically pressed to her porcelain smile, it was clear that if there was any enhanced audio, it was coming from external volume only. Taking a few ominous steps towards Mercer, Kinu shot a finger up to the roof, and then to the offline telescreens surrounding them. They had no line to the outside.
"They didn't know it, but this is what the people wanted! An exclusive showdown!"
One of the Witches could fly, magic of some sort. If she didn't go through the front, they'd probably start there. A tag-team match in the cage, big mistake.
"Live from the Aerodrome! Unscripted for the first time, ever!"
And the other one was pretty spry on her feet and had a sword about as long as she was tall. I'm going to need to find something longer than that...
Leaping up onto a counter, she began peering over the premises. Tiered terraces on the upper levels, perhaps? There were a number of chairs, how many were bolted down? And was that a maintenance ladder? As Kinu stalked around the civilians and rebels, she continued to take in the lay of the area. ...bet I could clear that with a running start, yeah!
"We got an all-star line-up waiting for them here! The Umbrellarator, Gumshoe Poppins! The Hands of Helios, Fiery Fandango! And escorting you down and outta danger, the Queen of the Thorned Throne!"
Beaming with confidence, Kinu shot Morgen a quick little gesture of approval.
"And there's more willing to step up and make a Witch wilt, here at Smackdown at the Skyport!"
Although she had every intention of facing the two down, therein was a little white lie.
But then again, En wasn't the one she was trying to win over.*

The scent of the bug was almost overwhelming in the moment; and the veneer cracked.
"I know what you are, Child of Magic. Where you hail from... What a fine meal you'll make." Head tilting to one side, eyes half-lidded the woman offered a smile- brief though it was- that held far too many teeth. A thing missed, once the centipede turned; and by the time any of the rest of them noticed she'd have returned to her 'normal' demure self. "I'll... keep your offer in mind... Mr. Um... Scary Bug."
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Morgen repeatedly tapped '3' on the elevator controls. The color drained from her face as the crazy wrestler shot her a thumbs up or something after extremely loudly announcing their presence to everyone outside.
Please get me out of here.

“ Fiery, fandango?” If it were a anime, cue a sweat drop moment right then for comedic effect. Keep in mind this next bit is mental.
“ But my true power, is not even in the flames, they are but a toy. My true weapon is in my heart.”
Owen shook his head.
“It’s Owen. And I’m not that old.”
He reactivates his Odin’s Eye and Identify.
“Need that elevator ready.”
He steps forward, leaning on his umbrella as he gazes in the direction of the Witches outside.

Despite being the last to act, persay, Sigourney appeared to have the honor of being the first to arrive. Rising from the hole it had made, Tekeli-li gently deposited the girl onto the terminal surface just in time to witness the arrival of the Witches.
"How bothersome..." She muttered, apathetic still in the face of outright destruction. Although ignorant to her capabilities with the Lucifer's Hammer, she doubted Tekeli-li alone would be able to handle both in time before her own safety was jeopardized. The fact that they had noticed the orbital strike in the first place astounded her, but she was willing to accept any kindness from fate after seeing the callous nature of the two witches as they casually ended someone's life.
Still, it wouldn't be long before they noticed her and deemed her ruinious enough to slaughter. Until then she had wait and observe for her chance to strike.
Nonetheless, the hooting and hollering of the rebels could be heard from outside. Even Mercer, picking himself up and rubbing his sore back, seemed to put on a smile. "Spread out, pull everyone back to the elevator and form up. Defensively line....an start loading up the civs!""We got an all-star line-up waiting for them here! The Umbrellarator, Gumshoe Poppins! The Hands of Helios, Fiery Fandango! And escorting you down and outta danger, the Queen of the Thorned Throne!"

Coordinating between the various En Rebels, the first load of civs begins boarding the elevator while the rest are moved further back from the fighting. The armed fighters take up cover points between them and the civs, training their weapons on the distant entry.
Silence fell over the Terminal, with only the crumble of distant rubble and the heavy breath of nervous souls and the quick shuffling of footsteps.
Owen shook his head.

Outside...the two witches had arrived at the collapsed bridge, and while vivianne seemed content with simply floating above the gap....she left her partner Meryl a path of human stepping stones from the rebels they had pulled from the crowd outside. Each one was suspended in the air by whatever power vivianne was holding on them....and without so much as a care for their well being, Meryl fancifully hopped from one body to another....her sharped heels leaving vicious wounds and the impact of her playful landings cracking bone.
With each moment, each dying scream of a comrade, the rebels fury mounted....even Mercer grit his teeth. "....listen to em....they're making a god damn game outta this....fucking witch monsters..."
"Ready.....keep down, keep quiet....wait until my signal." Ange whispered. "Mind your line of fire...."
~~~
In the level three prison, the elevator outside the storage area dings.....the lift is coming down from the first floor.
".....This....isn't the time to mourn." Ange kneels down beside her, offering a sympathetic hand. "Not yet....not while we're still here, not while we can still make a difference for the ones who are gone. We'll have time to mourn and regret when we're dead....and I damn well want to give my friends a reason to welcome me when I get there...don't you?"
"No, I'm going to stall the witches, buy enough time for the civilians AND the rest of us to get out.....I don't plan to die here." Ange stared straight ahead, , then shot a side glance at the Saint. "If this is too close to the razors edge for you....you can help the civilians get down. Think of it like another escort job."
Selma wiped her eyes dry, setting her jaw as she responded "You're right. This isn't the time to mourn. There will be time to mourn later... if we survive this. I doubt the witches are gonna give us much time to explain."
She reached out and grabbed the kukri, but frowned, looking it over as she said "I don't think this is gonna help us. I need make a gun." With that, it began glowing, its shape beginning to change into a gun.
As it did so, Selma pushed herself to her feet and moved over to the lockers, digging around and gathering bits and pieces, which she piled onto a table and placed her hand over it, the items changing form into bullets and a clip. As her weapon and ammo formed, Selma turned to Agne and said "I'll try to be as quick as I can, but I'm still going to need a minute."
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.
" I would go down there if I head a death wish, but I don't. The way these witches take people out is sloppy and gruesome. There's no professionalism in it at all," Jacob said.
Meanwhile, Jacob's spirit animal Rhea makes it to the storage room and starts looking around for Jacob's weapons.
