That’s a wrap. Ending was solid but I can’t shake off a feeling of disappointment. As a stand-alone Lois Lane book, this is not it. Bizarrely enough for Rucka this ended up being the furtherest thing from “grounded” I could imagine. The nun and Lois opening up a care center for people who get in touch with their alternate lives is very Astro City, and I think it’s cool, but it’s not at all what I expected when the book was first announced. As the next entry in Rucka’s DCU epic I quite like it. As a Lois Lane story? Meh, she really felt like a side character by the end.
