Fifth character should have a connection to one of the original Outsiders, a few of them have underused relatives.

Aside from Black Lightning, which of the "original outsiders" have "underused relatives"?

it's kinda funny; despite (involuntarily) being moved to the Batman forum, which i imagine should've skewed the poll a bit toward "Bat-team", the fact that "Independent team" has maintained a comfortably lead kinda shows that the mods probably shouldn't have moved this thread to the Batman forum in the first place.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

Is she dead or alive again at this point?
It's so hard to keep track of these things . . .

Don't know. She doesn't show up in Deathstroke's flashback of his team Defiance, and neither was anyone else except his family, but she also isn't in the New Teen Titans flashback.

Last time she appeared was Death Metal, so I assume she's stull alive.

That's the Terra of team Defiance, who appeared alongside classic Rose Wilson who lost her eye, because at the time, Hypertime was being messed by Batman who Laughs resulting in all versions of characters to be canon at the same time.

After Metal ended, timeline was realigned and the events of Death Metal attack was reset. Rose now has both her eyes again, following the New 52/Rebirth version...

    Hmm...

Williamson said he likes Priest's Deathstroke... and one of the things he did was make Terra survive because the Judas Contract has been replaced by Lazarus Contract, where Slade cancel his plan to use Terra to infiltrate the Titans on the condition that Dick Grayson will train Rose Wilson to be morally good

That's the other thing. Priest's Deathstroke loves his family and wants Rose to be different than him. The classic Rose lost her eye because she was brainwashed into wanting to be more like her father, including taking out her eye.

Another thing that supports the Lazarus instead of Judas is the origin of Nightwing. Judas and Deathstroke's attack on the Titans led to the creation of Nightwing, but Rebirth decided to go by the reason Dick created Nightwing was because he was fired as Robin.

So my conclusion is yeah, Terra's alive.
