(There was a time when Valkyrie was supposed to find seven more potential Valkyries on Earth, to replace those lost, and it seemed that Dani was number one on the list of prospects, but how effing awesome would it have been to include other badass mutant ladies like Monet and Frenzy and Rogue on the list?)

I dont like that idea. Being a Valkyrie is Dani's thing and I think it would take away from that if several other X-characters randomly became one as well.

How would Dani being a Valkyrie work now? Since Jane Foster is supposed to be the only one.

Dani's Valkyrie abilities come from her deal with Hela, so they aren't consistent. They come and go depending on the situation, usually fighting Asgardian enemies or the undead will activate them but not always.

Basically Dani is only a part-timer and Jane is the lone full-time Valkyrie.

It makes sense. The other Valkyries were powered up by Odin? Like, being a Valkyrie of Hel was different than say Brunhilde?

Pretty much, Dani is basically Hela's personal hitman. She has to deal with whatever threats Hela requires of her, and can really only do regular Valkyrie work when those interests align with Hela's.

I would substitute Mystique with Copycat and add either Jesse Bedlam or Hijack. Add Triage and Sister Salvation as Healers. Intelligence/Analyst add either Dr. Nemesis or Smart Alec. Inventors....Forge and Madison Jefferies. Extra muscle Warpath.
