The X-men will be in the Knull crossover (King in Black)

Stegman has been on fire since he started Venom, I'm looking forward to this at the very least looking great. And I really hope the build-up to this fight against Knull is worth it, because we've had this GOD IS COMING floating over our heads for three years already. I hope we only get a mini called X-Men: King in Black so it doesn't hijack any ongoing. Considering the threat Knull represents, not having the X-Men participating would feel kind of stupid.

Is it bad that I don’t want a mini? I’m being compelled to buy the Empyre mini cause all the X-writers are working on it but I kinda liked it when the Krakoan narrative was developing in its own little corner.

He was on fire during his Uncanny Avengers run with Duggan. Him drawing Rogue, Deadpool and Cable was awesome, and the issue where Cable whips Captain America’s ass is an all-time favorite!

Lucky for Steve, Rogue stopped him when she did. Otherwise it would’ve been worse.

The team is beautiful, hearing Storm name so many times was beautiful, the art was beautiful. And as i said in the Storm thread, i never thought i would see a main mu book where Storm was a bigger play than sentry and put on the same level as thor. It was beautiful. The little things.

Yes, they probably only serve to make Knull have more visual interesting minions than the same dragon over and over again.

Yeah, the Cable thing is a minor mistake, it's like when they draw Spider-woman swinging on a web instead of flying. Annoying but not really important.

OG Cable is much bulkier than that, especially as drawn by Stegman during his Uncanny Avengers run. So that’s Kid Cable (unfortunately). He just looks less skinny and weak than usual, and his haircut isn’t drawn so dumb here.

The hair is completely white and he's wearing a costume closer to OG's Cable's classic look, not the one that the teen is wearing. The artist drew the wrong version here

I’d happily replace with Bishop at this point. Cable is dead to me. Anywhere they need a gun guy with glowing eyes, just use Bish. Kid Cable uses a sword now anyway.
