If it's a mutant Sword team, who should be in?
Since they are probably going to alien worlds, somebody with adaptative powers. Either Darwin or Lifeguard or Random.
For the same reasons, Rocksldie or Mondo would be a nice fit.
Cypher would have been an obvious choice, but I'm not sure the Council would appreciate him being away from Krakoa again.

Wasn't Maggot on the big list of mutants to appear in Dawn of X?

Having someone around who can dissolve any kind of matter safely and from a distance would be quite usefull when encountering alien materials.

Like, knowing that there is a guy with what appear to be two swords, I wouldn't be surprised if Silver Samurai was part of the team, even if he hasn't been even in space.
