If he was, I'd be happy. I understand people excited about the idea of Taylor writing it, but a book based on a retcon needs someone who balances perfectly the use of continuity and character focused stories. Ewing would be my ideal writer for this, in the current Marvel.

I love Al, but do we need another straight white guy writing an X-book? Particularly if it's a Moira McT book.

Yeah, and I feel like it'd make more sense to bring Tom back to write Laura/Gabby or Jean.

Yes, if it's Al Ewing. I certainly don't think we need to exclude one of the greatest writers we have today because he's a white dude.

Interesting, well I don't think anyone would complain if Vita got a book with known X characters instead of the book she was going to do with new characters.

Give Duggan the X-Corp concept and have him run with it in Cable. Bring the OG adult version back, and make Cable’s book about him running X-Corp. Win-win.

An editor. From a quick google I think the latest thing he edited on the X-Line was the previous Cable book.

Always great to see a 2000AD (Judge Dredd) writer show up. Classes up any title. Definitely a lot of X-books in the line, but my interest is very piqued.

Honestly Al Ewing is a rare exception. I would happily welcome him aboard.

My list of writers to add to the current stable would be:

    Vita Ayala
    Al Ewing
    Marjorie Liu
    N.K. Jemisin
    Steve Orlando
    Christopher Preist
    Christopher Sebela

Priest on an X-book would be a dream.

Based on Immortal Hulk, he can write the whole damn X-Men line.

I always wanted him to do a Cyclops solo, just like he did with Deathstroke. My other choice would be Warren Ellis...
