Yes definitely! This is long overdue to happen.
I think she should stay an ally since she isn't a mutant.
No she should stay far, far away from any X-Men team.
Carol Danvers is perfect enough on her solo adventures
Carol Danvers is too good for the X-Men

I think that it was a real shame, during the period that Professor X was in space after UXM #200, that there wasn't a Starjammers ongoing. With the existing Starjammers, Xavier and Carol Danvers/Binary also, it could have been interesting, plus it would have been a way to keep Xavier active even while Claremont wanted to go in other directions (first the Magneto as Headmaster era, then the Outback X-Men).
On the one hand, yes. This would have been cool. UA started before her mind was fried, right? So with her friendships with several of the X-Men and being a long standing Avenger, it would have made sense for her to be on the team.
On the other hand, I am sooo not a fan of how the unity team has been written, so it's probably good that Carol and Ro were far away from the book.
I would like that, she is one of the few avengers that i dont hate.
That Bendis scene is hilarious. "Carol join us" isn't a line spoken with a remote interest in actually having her as an ally.
Does she even remember being friends with the X-Men anymore? I thought that was "raped" out of her in the latest mindwipe. Seriously, when are they going to stop going down this heinous road with Carol?
Anyway... her X-ship sailed about 30 years ago.

Well yeah, exactly.
If they wanted the team to WORK, and not be some mismatched cluster feck of guilt-ridden mutants and pompous avengers, they SHOULD HAVE given the job to Carol and Storm.
In MY mind -- sorry for derailing things -- the Uncanny Avengers SHOULD HAVE recruited:
Co Captains: Carol and Ororo
Avengers: Vision, Thor and She Hulk
X-Men: Beast, Emma Frost and Nightcrawler.
They could have easily found plenty of snark potential with those characters (especially with Beast, Emma, Kurt on the X side, as well as Carol, Vision and Thor on the A side) and it wouldn't feel so forced and/or hellbent on hemorrhaging every other panel.
Missed opportunity.
I'd rather Rogue than Shulkie. I think Rogue was the absolute most perfect choice for a member, and she's definitely lived up to it.

uh, carol, join us? you know, you're here, it's kinda rude not to at least offer a courtesy invite...
Didn't Emma already call her out for not helping the mutants in Genosha or something? Doesn't seem like the X-Men would want her. Plus, she had no problem following orders like a good soldier and rounding up her former friends during Civil War. Too much of a government lackey to suddenly up and side with the mutant revolution unless she's trying to bring them down from the inside.
