Default Sandman (Marvel) vs Imhotep (Mummy)

A guy made of sand vs a guy who controls sand. Can Imhotep overpower Marko's control over sand? How would an overall fight go between them.

Huh. Gut reaction is that Imhotep has enough oomph to keep the guy in a scattered state for a flimsy 10 count victory.

What Class of strength is Sandman approximately?

My thought as well, I mean major sandstorms are being summoned. Not so sure Sandman can remain cohesive against all that.

Wouldn't that just add to his overall mass?
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

I think the idea is that the two of them will be fighting for control over the same sand.

Unless Sandman is stupid strong (he might be?) I kinda feel like Imhotep will be able to destabilize him long enough for some sort of 10 count.

Sandman will be like "make body!" but his body will start falling to pieces. I dunno.

The Mummy would need some other magic juju. In the 2 movie he had telekinesis basically, year sand Msn apart that way and hold him.

Because if he Sands him, it just adds to his mass, that’s not smart.

But how is Sandman going to hurt him? He's basically made of sand as well.
