I really enjoyed this show, it started off a little clunky, but as the series progressed it just got better.
Watching the NYCC panel, I realized that the voice actors for this show looks so much like their animated characters and can easily play them in live action.
They may have to tone it down a little, but I would love to see the crew of the Cerritos interact with the characters of Prodigy at some point.
I really liked that they brought it Frakes and Sirtis to voice their characters again in the finale.
How did they do it? How were they able to make a modern Star Trek with so much SOUL?

Bit late, but having just watched the show I was quite pleased.
Can’t wait for Season 2 in August.

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
What are everyone's thoughts on S2 so far?
I posted some thoughts in the All Trek thread, seems they should be here.

This is the best Star Trek show out currently compared to the other new Star Trek shows. Mike McMahan should be the one that runs the new shows. He knows Star Trek.
S2, ep.9 - wej Duj (weird title)
So the broader idea of showing Lower Decks life across a few other races was intriguing to me. I enjoyed they way they tied it all together not just within the episode but the larger Pakled "threat".
I've got to say the character arcs are really showing. Boimler has really, really grown on me. That one little cut at the end, at the bar where an even more junior ensign comes up to Boimler because Commander Ransome suggested it was a good moment.
The dynamic between S1 and S2 of Mariner and her mom Captain Freeman has been fun to see grow.
Circling back....will that Lower Deck Vulcan character(sorry forget her name) end up on the Cerritos? I'd like to see that.
Also, Captain Freeman wearing that shirt that just said RITOS had me think the showrunners were angling for the way people say DISCO for Discovery. Will it catch on? RITOS? Hmmmm
