I watched reruns of of Unsolved Mysteries.
This service imo is the least competitive. It'll be interesting how many people subscribe as they really have the office and Jurassic Park content as their big selling points. They do have reruns of live shows but most people don't just rewatch old live shows that much. If most people like a particular live moment they typically view it on youtube.
Is there a large selection? Any hard-to-find or shows not seen much in syndication?
Not on roku or amazon of course. Only annoying thing is the ads all say "it's free! It's free!" It's not free. Yes they give you one season of a show but you have to pay to get the rest of the seasons! It's as "free" as boomerangs free episodes page is but you have to pay if want most of the episodes on the app.
Peacock doesn't support HDMI.
Straight from the Help page.

You are likely trying to stream via an unsupported method, such as an HDMI cable from your computer or mobile device to an external monitor.
Peacock is getting harry potter from hbo max but loses the fatf films, jurassic park films, shrek films, mummy films and matrix films.
