Agreed. I enjoyed this and that key will be important at some point. Very interesting including a Sentinel head in the tower Erik built for Emma.

(Waves in Scouse) Hello. The Douglock stuff is definitely going to be big. Especially after the mini tease they had in X Men #7 when he appeared and disappeared. I think Lady M will be important because she rose to prominence during Carey's X Men run and Hickman is a huge fan of it with it with him already utilizing Omega Sentinel and the Children of the Vault. To have her be the main reason for the events of the annual is more than a coincidence I reckon. Plus on a personal level, I absolutely love Regan and want her to have big role in the X Books again.

I didn't mind it. It felt like Hickman wanted to show that Mags has gained some much-needed humility.

i felt it was a nice showcasse of his humanity, smarts and power, it's obviously severe set up but still I enjoyed it.

Mags doesn't need humility, he should have told Emma to kick rocks and go get her own damm island. The guy went from wanting to kill Emma to being her errand boy, good grief.

I enjoyed the issue. So far I've enjoyed all these Giant Size stories. They remind me of little side stories in X-men Unlimited. I think this one is my second favorite after the Jean and Emma issue.
Magneto is a great character and he looked good in this issue. It was nice to see Emma and Namor.

Expected Hickman to write a better Erik. Nor do I expect anything from GSXs because of the last two issues. Emma gets what she wants from Namor.

I kind of wish this was a Namor and Emma X-Men annual. Namor and Magneto are so kind. The architecture of the island is referencing something. The island is a reaction to the way humans are responding to them. I wonder if shes taking in human refugees, humans who are being persecuted

Is it a trap? For the Hellfire Cult or Shaw?

I really didn't like the art, so if this was to showcase it.... well..

    The story was very meh.

Liked the issue and the art but I agree it needed more plot, I was expecting to see Magneto as an ambassador for Krakoa and interacting with more humans besides the guard on the island even if that was very well written.

But I enjoyed to see him just being relaxed with Emma and Namor itīs obvious he appreciates them as partners and friends. Magneto got over wanting to kill Emma on X-men Blue thanks to young Jean but imo the time he expend on the world of X-man helped him to see things differently given that from his perspective those events happened some years ago as he keep all the memories from that world. He and Emma have been partners since the 80īs on the Hellfire club, Emma helped him to get the Grey King seat by taking off Shaw from the club and later on Utopia, the Extintion team, Cyclops team so them being on friendly terms again is not really unexpected.
