Decent issue, nothing really to grab ahold of enjoyed the interactions of Emma and Erik but like others it's weird seeing him act as an errand boy for Emma, but Hickman enjoys her so.

Other: The Antagonist, Something is Killing the Children, Avatar: TLAB
Manga: My Hero Academia, MHA: Vigilanties, Soul Eater: the Perfect Edition, Berserk, Hunter X Hunter, Witch Hat Atelier, Kaiju No. 8
That wasn't a bad read, Emma's castle is gorgeous as expected. The sentinel head is a nice touch.

I guess I'm in the minority who dug this issue. obviously X-Factor and X-men are the important, must read, serious stories but I like these little showcases with smaller less important stories. I love seeing this toned down regal Magneto, love seeing him interacting with Emma, all my Krakoan homies feel like they living their best life and I love to see it. I didn't expect Namor, even thought he's on the cast page, and he still being an uppity bitch a little bit (it's Namor tho, what do you expect) but I think Krakoa's slowly winning him over. when Magneto lifted that ship? beautiful. the Jean/Emma issue still the best one, then this one, then the Nightcrawler one; the Nightcrawler one didn't grab my attention and I haven't given it another chance yet.

Have to admit I thought he had built some kind of fake Sentinal base as a clever trap for on-the-run Orchis people, but after reading this thread it's incredibly blatantly a cocktail palace for Emma's Hellfire Gala. Which obviously makes it extra hilarious that Erik stirred up some undersea trouble to get the island and didn't even give a shit. Like the main X-Men series there's a lot of set-up for future storylines planted in these issues so, like a strike in bowling, their impact will depend very much on how they are followed up.
Also, while building the palace from containers was an incredible showpiece for Magneto's raw power, his architecture and design skills are absolutely at omega level. Everything is perfectly colour matched, and he's even filled the roof gardens with plants and trees!

I think that the island being an embassy sounds about right. So they can invite humans there without having them step on the main island for security reasons. She'll probably use it for the gala though.
Apparently magnetism comes with architecture, engineering and design skills lol.
Magneto can somehow transform any piece of junk into a functional anti-telepathy helmet.
So good is he.

I'm not sure Erik has even been shown to have a single sexual urge since Age Of Apocalypse (and that version was gross with his huge anime mullet) apart from Briar Raleigh. Clearly Erik's kink is crippled flatscans, which maybe is the only perversion he can't openly explore in the brave new world of Krakoa.
