D'Onofrio did not animate the Kingpin that had lurked in my imagination (who I love [to hate]), but I was very impressed with the Kingpin he did bring the the screen. Liked him a lot.

I was going to say Gaston, but he's only likeable up until the moment he stabs the Beast. Not cool, dude!

Nobody stabs the Beast like Gaston!

    ----

Anyway, since a Cardassian's already been mentioned, Gul Dukat is all kinds of charismatic evil. And Kai Winn is hateable inside and out but Louise Fletcher does a wonderful job just selling it.

I was going to say Gul Dukat. DS9 is the best of the Star Treks and he is the best villain. I love his line.

Game of Thrones did an amazing job of creating villains you loved to hate.

Cersi, Joffrey, Tywin, Viserys, Ramsey, Euron, etc. I think the villains actually carried the show.

This is interesting. I don't think i had a middle ground with GoT villains. I hated most of them especially Lannisters.

How do ppl define "Love to Hate"?

I would define it as, "They're such great, compelling villains/antagonists that you can't help but love seeing them onscreen even while you're rooting for them to get beaten for whatever evil plot they've hatched this time around."
The spider is always on the hunt.
