Default iWolverine 2020 #1 Review and Spoilers

It is basically the new Iron-Man (yes there is a new one, named Arno Stark) is trying to turn all AI characters into mindless machines. This also includes two old time Wolverine characters we all know and do (not) love: Albert and Elsie-Dee

Remeber the Hunt for Wolverine series where Daredevil fought Albert and Elsie-Dee was missing? Well now we know what happened to her.

In Madripoor Tyger Tiger still rules and gives Albert the location of Pierce (who once created Albert), once there he finds out Elsie-Dee has been taking apart, now he goes after her body-parts basically. Fun fact: Bonebreaker has no longer a tank as lower body-part, but spider-legs. Which is lame, really lame. He fights against familiar name Kimura (from X23), who has has the head of Elsie-Dee and unknown organisations like the Jade Dragon Triad (arms) and Vladivostok Mafia (legs).

After he gets the parts from them, Albert puts Elsie-Dee back together. Now all these villains plus the Reavers are willing to make sure both will never leave Madripoor.

That's it. It was an okay read, mostly because we saw some old characters we did not see in a while. Character-wise, not exciting at all. Not a must-read, but fun for the fans of Albert and Elsie-Dee.

Albert and Elsie-Dee were eloquently characterized by Larry Hama. He didn't loose his touch. Plus there was homage scene but it's just that it wasn't Logan when those people gunfired. lol.

Any explanation as to why Kimura is not dead?
    Context is king.

X-23's most basic surface level characteristic that any idiot should grasp: Stoicism.
I don't demand that her every minor appearance be a nuance in-depth examination of her character, but is it to much to ask she be written in Archetype?! This is storytelling 101! If you want people to stay invested in a character, you need to, at the bare minimum, write them such a way that they can plausibly be believed to be the same character!
