More sentient ships!
Andromeda/Romi
Even more sentient ships. Were it not for that final season, Andromeda might have displaced Trek for me. The one thing that's bothered me about Trek is how it treats AIs. Almost across the board, it's like "It's a machine, kill it! It's evil!" or they die for silly reasons, except for Data because he stupidly wanted to be human. IMO, the Andromeda series treated AIs much better.
Honourable mention to Nell of Battle Beyond the Stars. Loved the AI, but that hull design was clunky and weird.
Yup, I'm very pro-AI. SkyNet was the good guy.

Come for the Yamato, stay for the Wave Motion Gun:
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
The blockade runner Tantive IV I think is an ugly but very iconic ship.

Although it's soon overwhweelmed (in fact swallowed up) by the incredible Star Destroyer
What the X-Wing is to Luke, and the Falcon is to Han, it becomes the symbolic ship to Leia at the forefront of the rebellion.
It's revisit and temporary escape in R1 was pretty great too!

The Enterprise-D is my first love:
But another shout out to the Rocinante, my new love and a real plucky underdog herself:
I also have a fondness for the updated TOS Enterprise in Discovery. Not as overboard as the JJ films, and more or less the same design lines are kept intact.
Now, don't get me wrong, the final battle of Discovery S2 was a straight up mess. But despite Discovery being larger and more technologically advanced (both being younger and being a testbed), the Enterprise, which was still considered a premiere assignment in Discovery, lasted comfortably longer in the firefight.

the pyramid starships of the goa'uld from stargate.
The Nirvana (Vandread)
The Exelion (Gunbuster)
Geneshaft
I'm not a huge fan of the show but lof of Babylon 5 ship's designs were pretty cool.
Some Starfury? :
The main flag ship of Star Trek. Enterprise.
The Narn and Centauri ships were my favorites. I was not a fan of Earthforce or the Minbari 'fish' designs.
But the whacky ships from that horrible Jupiter Ascending movie were pretty cool. Ditto the airships from John Carter.
