Default New, Hi-Tech Batman Costume for Post-Joker War Dark Knight looks familar

    Article here.

Um....Nice tribute to the late Joel Schumacher's costume design for "Batman and Robin," complete with shiny silver highlights....I...guess.

On another note, seems to be yet another move towards the "Bruce Wayne is Tony Stark, only his armor has pointy ears" version of Batman that I hoped would die with Wheedon's Justice League.

Hmmmmm....??? Black Panther much?? Truth be told it would make more sense with the type of adventures he involves himself in, for him to go around with spandex over light kevlar is laughably ludicrous, even for a comicbook.

Maybe it’s just me, but this is one of the ugliest Batsuits I’ve ever seen.

That's one hell of an ugly suit... And I usually likes Jimenez's designs.

Also, is it me or Tim get back in the Robin suit on the Bat-family cover for #100 ?

that character really can't be anything else than Robin...

It's a little shiny but I'm fine with it, I actually like the light blue coloring of it

That cover seems to be symbolic for the 100 issue. Characters that appear in that cover don't necessarily will appear in the issue.

So, Tim's suit in that cover doesn't mean anything for current Tim.

Yeah, there's some BP in there too.

I personally prefer a "spandex (or least spandex looking hi-tech material) over light kevlar" since I'm happily able to suspend disbelief. That being said, if one insists on armor, at least make it more like the black Nolan or Burton look than Schumacher's shiny silver and baby blue.

At least no rubber nibbles, thank goodness.

This reminds me of those Batman toys they used to sell in the 90s.

Kinda feels like they're incorporating aspects meant to have originally gone to Luke.

Because this feels really Luke to me. Heck, I feel Luke would have pulled the shiny Black and Silver-Blue off better.

Because, again, this feels to me that it was supposed to be Luke.

Now that you're pointing it out, it may be true. Even Bat's face doesn't look like typical Bruce Waybe to me. And Luke would have definirtively rocked this suit better.

I think the design itself is fine, but I'm not digging the color scheme.

Agreed. Luke would definitely be a confident Batman not afraid to give the world a genuine smile. And yes, Luke woulda rocked the suit better.
