    I really hope he keeps evolving and getting good characterisation, he was just a cookie cutter villain but he’s becoming an interesting character. The interaction with the Morlocks in the first issue was surprisingly nuanced (when he didn’t correct the official version of his altercation with them).

    Looks good. Though a minor nitpick, Alex didn't really "grow up" in the orphanage, he was adopted pretty soon after arriving there.

    Good catch, he's pretty much the only mutant that has done that.

    He probably wants to distance himself from the person he was when he was a Marauder.

    What surprised me most is they did not have the cops pop a couple rounds in Wild Child so the mutants could scream at them for being anti mutant bigots
