Morrison wanted to play with big numbers, but I suppose it's feasible. The most populous city of the South Hemisphere, São Paulo, here in Brazil, is 1500 km², or 587 square miles if you prefer, and has like 12 million people. Genosha is probably a tad bigger than that.

Totally agree, as a believer I never cared what appearance Adam or Eve had, they could have been terra-cota like Exodus,who knows? Besides this may be a weird comparison but just like the way a litter of pups can have black,black and white, brown hues all from one parent.So it could have been with Noah's kids. Antediluvian ages presuppose markedly different DNA than our own today,so genetics back then could be nothing like we have today
