I want to punch Warren and Monet in the face so they are perfectly well-written millionaires.

Same, especially when M tossed out that salad having barely eaten a bite. Wasting food was a sin growing up, and I still feel guilty for just sending back food even if the kitchen made a mistake. At least they tipped, and didn’t throw a tantrum. I remember when I still worked at a popular fast food chain, a customer became so enraged that the cook forgot to put a tomato in her burger, she threw the damn thing at my head. ��

I like that Warren notes that mutants love meetings. I think many of them do love the pageantry and flair of introducing themselves, in full costume and showing off what they can do. It’s at once reminiscent of social soft power and the way animals in nature will puff up to intimidate their rivals.

I did note the reference to Serval. The early cancellation meant we never got to see how it all actually came to an end. Is their CEO still trying to get a corporate super team together to fight some evil corporations in the future? Is Georgia on Krakoa? Did Polaris ever find out about that camera in her eye?!

lolll Tini's dialogue hasn't exactly been praised either , they knew they had to kill it w/ this one (and from 2 pages they did)
the bitchy banter vibe definitely screams Hickman though. Flashback to Emma's courtroom scene in HoX ? we've known he had it in him lol
